Kinder Foods is a meat processing facility located in Mount Forest, ON. Kinder Foods works closely with the local agriculture community to bring high-end meat to market. Kinder Foods is a federally inspected abattoir. 

Hiring for Production and Harvest Floor Operators

Positions Available: 6

Role: The position encompasses day-to-day operations of the production and harvest floor of the facility. 

Production Operator Duties will include (but not limited to) cutting meat in NAMI spec, organizing production orders, packaging meat, and other miscellaneous duties at the request of the Production Manager/Plant Manager. There may also be opportunities to assist other sectors of the company when needed. This is a physical role that may require you to carry boxes 60lbs or slightly heavier. 

Harvest Floor Operator Duties will include: stunning, skinning, trimming, pre-slaughter handling and humane handling is necessary.

Skills Required:

- Knife Skills

- Willingness to learn

- knowledge of food safety

- knowledge of good manufacturing practices

- Organization 

Experience is an asset. 

Hours: Vary between 6am - 4 pm Monday-Friday

Pay: Starting at $17/hour + full benefits package. Equipment provided and boot allowance.
